Docov (short for Doctors on Virtual) is among Africa’s earliest virtual care platforms, conceived by Kenyan scientist Gideon Jefferson and currently led by Dr Savatia. Driven by a mission to solve healthcare accessibility challenges, Docov integrates online doctor consultations, pharmaceutical services, and lab diagnostics into one streamlined digital platform.

It was the first in Kenya to introduce a fully virtual doctor model, aiming to improve rural healthcare access, cut down travel-related costs, and enhance patient trust through innovative care solutions.
